In Norvegia, le truppe tedesche al comando del Colonnello Lauser occupano un villaggio vicino a una miniera di ferro. L'invasione è stata favorita da Corell, un seguace di Quisling, mentre il resto degli abitanti, composto in maggioranza da minatori, hanno un contegno freddamente ostile e ben presto scoppia la rivolta. A farne le spese saranno il sindaco del villaggio e altri maggiorenti, ma ormai in tutta la Norvegia l'invasore non avrà più un'ora di pace...
