The Iron Horse

USA 1924

Un ingegnere che sogna di costruire ferrovie viene ucciso, nel 1853, da un bandito alleato con gli indiani. Nel 1862 Lincoln dà il via alla costruzione della ferrovia. Il figlio dell'ingegnere si unisce all'impresa, aiuta un ingegnere amico del padre, si innamora della figlia di questi, vendica il padre e respinge, assieme agli operai, l'attacco degli indiani. Le locomotive "Jupiter" e "116" cominciano la traversata del West.
