Uno sconosciuto uccide un poliziotto che lo aveva scoperto mentre stava tentando di scassinare un negozio. La polizia scatena una caccia all'uomo, cercando di identificare l'omicida attraverso analisi di laboratorio e identikit. Nel frattempo, il ricercasto compie altre rapine e sfugge alle trappole preparate dalla polizia, ma viene identificato e cerca allora di fuggire nelle fogne.
