SAG, ovvero Screen Actors Guild, Awards: annunciate le nomination della 22esima edizione. Tra i candidati ai riconoscimenti del sindacato attori americano, ci sono: Cate Blanchett (Carol), Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), Brie Larson (Room), Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn), Johnny Depp (Black Mass), Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl) e Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs).

In pole-position con tre nomination è il film Trumbo, che stacca di una lunghezza Beasts of No Nation e Room: quest’ultimo, oltre alla Larson, può vantare con Jacob Tremblay un candidato di soli 9 anni.

Per quanto riguarda il cast d’insieme, la spuntano Beasts of No Nation, The Big Short, Spotlight, Straight Outta Compton e Trumbo, mentre Helen Mirren guarda tutti dall’alto in basso con due nomination: Woman in Gold e Trumbo.
